Play Café is a cozy, warm environment for children and their caregivers to create, explore, play, and connect with new friends. Our space is geared towards the 6 and under crowd – however all ages can have a good time 😉

The play area and  activities will keep little ones busy with developmentally appropriate toys, puzzles, books, and gross motor equipment.

We have a cafe area stocked with coffee, tea, special beverages, and delicious snacks. We believe in supporting local, so our coffee is from Kyoto Coffee and our baked goods are from Baked 4 You.

Play Cafe supports the local maker community in Peterborough by having a small “Makers Market” section at the front of our store. Come in and take a look at what some of our local mamas have been up to making!

We host a variety of classes focusing on creativity and family wellness – Yoga, Mom + Baby Groups, Parenting classes, Infant Massage, Toddler Art, and Parent/Child Paint Nights! We even host events on essay writing ai. Check out our classes HERE.

Play Rules:

• Please remove shoes/boots before entering play area
• Food and drinks must be kept at tables in the front of the cafe (Adult cups with lids are okay).
• Please do not bring outside food and drinks. We are a cafe and appreciate the support. We do allow children’s snacks and baby food/drinks. Do not bring any nuts into the cafe.
• Please help and encourage your children to tidy up after themselves. We would like to keep our space clean and safe for all customers. This also helps to reduce broken toys/books/equipment
